Liverpool Player Signs For Sheffield United

Rhian Brewster has signed for Sheffield United from the Premier League champions, Liverpool, for a five-year deal worth £23.5million.

"It feels good to be here and I just can't wasn't to get started to be honest," said the 20-year-old. "There were a few teams who came in but right now Sheffield United is the best option for me."

Liverpool included in the striker a buy-back clause which is effective until the third year into his contract with Sheffield. Brewster completed last season at Swansea on a six-month loan move in January and played for the side in the FA Community Shield lost to Arsenal in a shoot out.

"It was good for me (at Swansea). I felt I needed game time and I scored 11 goals which was great for me," he added. "I am not going to dwell on that though, this is a new season and I want to come in here and show what I can do."
