Though VVV-Venlo played one-man down for most of the second half, they had trailed the Dutch giants by four goals, two of which was contributed by Traore before Christian Kum was red-carded ten minutes after the halftime break.

Traore also assisted in three goals amongst which was  Jurgen Ekkelemkamp's opening goal in the 12th minute. Jurgen and Klaas-Jan Huntelaar contributed two goals each to the scoring streak.

The Burkina Faso-born player, 19, extended his goal tally by three after the break and completed two more assists during the stretch en route to the sides' victory.
