Conor McGregor To Fight Dustin Priorier Next Year
Conor McGregor has once again come out of retirement and accepted a fight against an American Dustin Priorier on his return to the Octagon.
The former champion announced his return to mixed martial art four months after declaring his retirement in a tweet and he confirmed the date and venue of the fight to be at Cowboy Stadium in Texas on 23 January.
"I accepted, Jan 23rd is on! My goal is to see this fight take place in Cowboy stadium. Proper Style!" he announced in a tweet. "Jerry Jones is a friend and the stadium can hold our crowd. I will be ready for Texas and Texas will be ready for my fans."
McGregor declared his retirement in June, which was his third in four years, and no sooner, he was understood to have started a negotiation with the sport's promoter Dana White on his return.
Meanwhile, in boxing, the Irishman has challenged Manny Pacquiao for which the Filipino fighter has also accepted.
