Black Adam Gets Filming Date
Johnson Dwayne has confirmed his much anticipated DC Universe film Black Adam Film is set to start filming in spring next year. The date announced for the commencement of the film's production puts it on a somewhat safe date to avoid having to deal with coronavirus guideline measures.
Black Adam has been a project Johnson was going to do since the studios changed the plan from casting as a villain in Shazam! and was replaced with Mark Strong who starred as Dr. Sivana. The Fast & Furious actor announced the date via Instagram on Sunday.
"I never take working for granted and I'm grateful that once the Red Notice wraps next month, I will immediately roll into shooting Young Rock for @NBC. Then in the spring, we will be shooting the big one - Black Adam for the DC Universe," he announced on the platform.
The film was previously slated for release in December next year but had the date rescheduled, and Warner Bros. is yet to announce a new date. However, Johnson has a lot going for himself, and as stated in his update, the artist is currently working on Red Notice with Netflix and that will be followed immediately by Young Rock on NBC.
