Benedict Cumberbatch And Jamie Foxx To Star In Spider-Man 3
As Marvel Studios prepares to commence the filming of Spider-Man: Homecoming 3, they will be making some new character introduction to the franchise as Benedict Cumberbatch will have a role to play in the oncoming trilogy and Jamie Foxx will reprising his role in the franchise once again.
Spider-Man 3 for the first time, will welcome the Amazing Grace actor, Cumberbatch, to the franchise reprising his role in MCU as Doctor Strange. Cumberbatch will follow in the stead of its predecessor in the franchise - Iron Man and Nick Fury - as Peter Parker's mentor according to Hollywood Reporter.
After six years of hiatus, Jamie Foxx will be returning as well yet in his role as Electro - a role that he first starred in The Amazing Spider-Man 2 in 2014. Foxx confirmed the news himself sharing an update of his industry-mate and a director Keith Jefferson who had first announced he will be starring in Homecoming 3.
Also joining Foxx and Cumberbatch in the casts include Tom Holland (Peter Parker), Zendaya (M.J Jones), Marisa Tomei (May Parker), and Jacob Balaton (Ned Leeds).
As the released date scheduled for 17, December 2021, filming is expected to start in Atlanta later this month before the studios will move its sets over to the United Kingdom according to THR.
