Jude Bellingham Scores On Bundesliga Debut

Borussia Dortmund's newly-signed youngster, Jude Bellingham, kicked off his Bundesliga spell with a goal in the team's 5-0 away win against MSV Duisburg on their season's opening match.

Jude was signed from Birmingham City for £25million, and on his debut, made the starting lineup alongside his countryman Jadon Sancho who opened the scoring converting a penalty drawn early into the game.

Duisburg conceded three goals in the first half with Jude doubling the lead after a half-hour of play followed by Thorgan Hazard nine minutes later just after the host's player Dominic Volkmer was red-carded.

On their return from the halftime break, Borussia wrapped up the victory with two more goals added within eight minutes from Giovanni Reyna and Marco Reus.

In spite of this good start to the season by the two Engish players, Manchester United are yet strongly linked to Sancho with the view of getting a deal done with the German club. Nonetheless, the pair are the first English players in history to have started on a season-opening game for the Germans and yet scored.
