James Bond: Henry Cavill Wants To Replace Daniel Craig
Henry Cavill, despite being DC Comic Superman character has confessed his desire to play as James Bonds in replacement of Daniel Craig. As already known, Craig has just starred for the last time in the franchise as the 007.
Many artistes have been teased for the role on the exit of Craig who would rather slash his wrist than reprise the role once again. In search for the role, some have suggested renowned characters such Idris Elba, Tom Hiddleston, James Norton and even former Manchester United player David Beckham. However, none of these persons has made it to Barbara Broccoli's table as an option.
In the midst of this, Cavill spotted that as an opportunity for him to grab since he once audition for the role at the age 22. Nevertheless, he is aware this is unlike his role in DCEU being a film that reflects British tradition and its spying capabilities.
"If Barbara [Bond producer Barbara Broccoli] and Mike [co-producer Michael G. Wilson] were interested in that, I would jump at the opportunity," he told GQ during an interview.
Well, luck might smile on him despite being known as the neighbourhood superhero in the DC film and starring as the new 007 which Tom Hardy recently confessed he is interested in playing.
