David Beckham, Wife Victoria Contract Coronavirus

David Beckham and his wife Victoria have come out on their experience of contracting the killer bug coronavirus which they believed to have been infected with during a party they attended on the eve of the pandemic lockdown.

There was no knowledge of where actually the couple must have contracted the virus as sources close to them revealed it could be traced to the launching of Beckham-owned soccer team Inter Miami FC in Los Angeles back in February.

Not long after that, the former Manchester United and Real Madrid player held a big and star-studded lavish party on his son, Brooklyn, 21st birthday that was believed to have cost the family £100,000 and had stars like British rapper Stormzy, Emma Bunton, and the Spice Girls in attendance.

"David started to feel ill and then Victoria developed a sore throat," an insider revealed. "At the same time, several of their team including drivers, bodyguards, and assistants fell ill - a couple of them very badly so."

The former Spice Girls member, Victoria, was understood to have feared her family has become a 'super spreaders' of the virus, thus managed the situation by self-isolation at their Cotswold estate. The situation was kept secret within the family.

"Victoria really panicked and made the whole family quarantine rigidly for more than two weeks," the insider continued. "It was a rough few weeks."
