Bournemouth Accept £20M Bid From Newcastle For Callum Wilson
Relegated Bournemouth have reportedly accepted a £20million bid from Newcastle United for Callum Wilson's transfer.
Having finished in the redline in the 2019/20 season, Bournemouth dropped from the Premier League to the EFL Championship and have had Aston Villa also coming for the forward but they later withdraw their £21million offer.
Villa's it from the pursuit leaves Newcastle in the lead for the player's signing, meanwhile, Fulham have also been linked to the 28-year-old and likewise Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham.
Wilson will be the third player to leave the club this summer after Nathan Ake left to join Manchester City for £40m and goalkeeper and Aaron Ramsdale is set for a return to Sheffield United for an £18.5m bid.
Cherries will be cashing in on the player the signed for £3million from Coventry in a five-year deal in 2015. He scored seven goals 35 league game appearance for Bournemouth.
