Arturo Vidal Joins Inter Milan From Barcelona

Arturo Vidal has joined the number of players that have left Barcelona for a new team after signing for Inter Milan for £900,0000.

Barcelona had told the team that it will have to shed off most of its long-serving players following a statement from the club's chief executive Josep Maria Bartomeu after disastrous 8-0 defeat to Bayern Munich in a semi-final exit from the Champions League.

The Chilean midfielder's transfer to Inter Milan will be a reunion with Antonio Conte - his former manager at Juventus, and he will also join his countryman Alexis Sanchez at the club.

Barcelona in a farewell tribute, expressed their "gratitude" to the player who spent eight years at the club for his "commitment and dedication" to the team.

Luis Saurez, Ivan Rakitic, Arda Turan, and Arthur are amongst players that have left Barcelona since Ronald Koeman was appointed as the club's new head coach to replace Quiqen Setien.
