Zlatan Ibrahimovic Signs One-Season Deal With AC Milan
Zlatan Ibrahimovic will remain at AC Milan for yet a season after agreeing to a one-season long deal worth £6.2million with the Italians side.
Milan finished sixth in the Italian Serie A last season which guaranteed them of the UEFA Europa League qualification. During that campaign, the Swede who joined the club in a six-month deal also helped the side through with 10 goals in 18 league appearances.
"As I've always said, I'm not here to be a mascot," he told the club's website. "I'm here to bring results and help the team, the coach, and the squad return to where Milan should be.
The former Manchester United forward left the Premier League after terminating his contract with Red Devils in March 2018 to join the MLS side L.A Galaxy for a season and he returned to Europe to rejoin AC Milan in January.
