Willian Turned Down Chelsea's Two-Year Contract

Willian is set to leave Chelsea after his last game as he reportedly turned down a two-year contract renewal offer from the club. The winger is understood to be demanding nothing lesser than a three-year contract from his club.

Chelsea would have liked to keep Willian for some more seasons but the club's policy does not allow an offer more than a two-year contract for a player of his age. In effect, Willian, 31, will be a free agent this summer and he intended to remain in London.

Tottenham and Arsenal are the two London-based clubs that have been linked to the Brazilian as he prepares to leave Chelsea after his last game with the team in the Champions League. Meanwhile, Arsenal are rumored to be the potential move for him.

Blues failed to win their first trophy under Frank Lampard at the FA Cup final on Saturday after losing 2-1 to Arsenal. They will meet Bayern Munich in the Champions League Last 16 2nd leg on Saturday - Chelsea lost 3-0 in the first leg.

However, his agent Kia Joorabchian revealed they have more than five offers for Willian, amongst which is from MLS but the offers they have received from two undisclosed Premier League sides he told talkSPORT are more "concrete".

"He has two concrete offers from Premier League club on the table," said Kia. "An offer from an MLS club, and two other offers from Europe. He is going to make his decision after the last game of the season."
