Pierre Emerick Aubameyang To Sign New Deal With Arsenal
Arsenal can now be sure that Pierre Emerick Aubameyang will not be leaving the club this summer as he is expected to sign a new contract amidst speculations of wanting out.
Aubemeyang led the club to win the FA Cup last weekend in a 2-1 win over Chelsea by scoring both goals, but when asked about his future after the match, he declined to address the rumors over his decision to leave.
However, he is reportedly near signing a new three-year contract with Arsenal that comes with an increase in his wages to £250,000-a-week according to Daily Telegraph.
The forward had faced significant pressure from his home country FA asking him to join a club that is thirsty for trophies than stay with Arsenal but yawn for a trophy may have just ended on Saturday when he lifted his first trophy with the team.
Arsenal are now making significant improvement in their attack with the signing of former Chelsea winger Willian on Thursday and they are also in talks with Barcelona over the transfer of Philippe Coutinho this summer.
