Nicole Young Dismisses Validity Of Dr. Dre's Prenup Claims

Billion-dollar net worth is on the line as Dr. Dre's legal battle with divorce case has entered a heated phase as his estranged wife Nicole Young is challenging the existence of any prenup between them.

Dre had tendered a prenuptial document to challenge his estranged wife's claims that portions of his property be allotted to her. The rapper's lawyer asked the court to treat their divorce case as stated in the prenup.

Nicole in her statement disagreed with her ex-husband's claims of having any premarital agreement and revealed that he had torn up the document two years after their marriage because he felt bad for forcing it upon her.

"Andre (Dr. Dre) acknowledged to me that he felt ashamed he had pressured me into signing a premarital agreement and he tore up multiple copies of the agreement in front of me," Young claimed.

Though their marriage had lasted for 24 years before Young wanted out filing for divorce, however, sources close to the rapper dismissed claims that she was "pressured" to sign the document and Dre did not rip off the document either, according to TMZ

Besides claims of being forced to sign a document, Nicole explained further in her statement that she was unwilling and felt being cornered by the rapper. That left her with no options than to surrender to the "extraordinary intimidation" that she was subjected to.

"I was extremely reluctant and afraid to sign the agreement and felt backed into a corner," Young explained. "Given the extraordinary pressure and intimidation by Andre (Dre), I was left with no option but to hire a lawyer (of course with the help of Andre's team of professionals) and unwillingly signed the agreement vert shortly before our marriage."

Nicole who shares two children with the Aftermath Entertainment and Beat Electronics chief executive divorced her first husband and former NBA star Sedale Threatt before tying the knot with the hip hop mogul in 1996.
