Manchester United Miss Out On Signing Jadon Sancho

Manchester United have missed out on signing their top target Jadon Sancho as no agreement has been reached with Bayern Munich until August 10, the deadline date set for the transfer.

In the middle of transfer talks for Sancho is a massive fee of £108million which was enough to upset the previous record set for biggest transfer in Premier League by Paul Pogba's £89million move from Juventus in 2016.

By the way, Bayern are not ready to budge on the asking price for English attacker despite all efforts by United to have a deal done. The Bundesliga side is keen on keeping the former Manchester City player rather than sell.

Back in March, before the Covid-19 pandemic lockdown, the club's chief executive Karl-Heinz Rummenigge had revealed they are confident the player will stay at the club and would rather keep him than sell him for a less price.

United remained dodged to bring the player to Old Trafford regardless. Last week, they were rumored to have reached a five-year deal contract with the club which the Germans later dismissed as untrue.

Sancho was spotted in his home country [United Kingdom] at a house party over the weekend which the speculation that a deal might be in view between the two clubs for the winger. Unfortunately, Bayern had no intentions for that following a statement from Bayern communication chief Sascha Fligge.

"It's common and fine for players to go home before a training camp if they're not risky [concerning the coronavirus pandemic]," said Fligge. "The same goes for Jadon [Sacho]. From our viewpoint, the pictures that have been shown to us so far do not violate."
