Manchester United Agree On Five-Year Deal Terms With Jadon Sancho
Manchester United have agreed on a personal term with Borussia Dortmund for their top target Jadon Sancho on a transfer fee of £108million - the biggest on record for a club in the Premier League.
Jadon is set to be United's first signing this summer and he is expected to earn as much as £340,000-a-week from the deal that will run for five-years.
The deal will eclipse the record set by Paul Pogba in 2016 for the biggest signing by a club in the Premier League and will follow behind David de Gea as the highest-paid player in the team. Jadon will be getting a payrise of £190,000/week compared to what he earned at the Bundesliga side.
Jadon, who signed the England starlet for £8million from Manchester City in 2017, reportedly has all deal terms on paper according to BILD, and Borrusia are expecting half of the fee in an upfront payment and the remainder of the fee can be in installments.
United have sealed a place in the Champions League after finishing third in the Premier League and have been keen on signing the winger despite Borussia not ready to budge on fee demand. Back in June, the Germans' chief executive Hans-Joachim Watzke had expressed the club's desire to keep the player through his contract year.
Meanwhile, the 20-year-old will join United despite two years remaining in his contract at the club he has spent three seasons, having a record of 34 goals in 96 appearances in all competitions.
