Manchester City Complete £40M Signing Of Nathan Ake
Manchester City have completed the signing of Nathan Ake in a five-year deal of £40million from the relegated Bournemouth on Wednesday.
Nathan joined Valencia forward Ferran Torres at the club as the second signing completed by City this summer. It is understood that they yet have a number players lined up for signing in this window transfer among which reportedly is Napoli's defender Kalidou Koulibaly.
Speaking of the move to his new club, the left-back described the transfer as a "dream" come true for him train with a side full of "world-class players".
"City have been the best side in England over the course of the last decade," said Nathan. "Pepe is a manager admired across the world. What he's done in the game speaks for itself."
Bournemouth finished in the redline the season and have been relegated to the EFL Championship alongside Watford and Norwich. Still, they are able to cash in on the 25-year-old signed from Chelsea in a club record of £20million transfer fee in 2017.
He added: "I know I'm going to have to work hard to get into the side, but that's what I'm here to do. I'll do whatever I can to make an impact and help the team win silverware."
