Lionel Messi Ranked Highest-Paid Player In The World

Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo's career rivalry is not only restricted to their performance on the pitch but also in terms of what they are paid. As will be expected the pair are the richest players in football. 

Though both players have been ranked as the highest-paid players in the world, the Argentine striker claimed the top spot with £11m more than what his Juventus rival was paid in the year 2019. 

Kylian Mbappe was nowhere near his teammate Neymar Jr but managed to join in amongst the richest players you can find in the world in the 10th position with a staggering £24.73m paid to him last year.
