Keanu Reeves Wanted To Be X-Men's Wolverine

Hugh Jackman may be aware that Keanu Reeves is one of the top fan of Marvel Studios superhero fictional film X-Men, one thing that was oblivious to Jackman until now was the even The Matrix actor wish he starred instead of him as Wolverine in the film.

Jackman has been on the X-Men set as the claws-bearing mutant with self-healing capabilities known as Wolverine since 2009, a decade after Reeves had made his debut as Neo in Lana and Lilly Wachowski directed sci-fi film, The Matrix.  

Though Reeves admitted acting as Wolverine is a dream that has past him, the hidden interest he had for Jackman's role in X-Men was revealed when a fan asked him about a role that he could have acted during an interview on SiriusXM on Tuesday.

"For me, I always wanted to play Wolverine," he replied the fan. "It is too late. It was filled really well. I'm all good with it now."

Nothing to worry about not playing the role as he has a lot going on with The Matrix 4 and John Wick 4 both which might be released just about the same time.  

Reeves will reprise his role as Neo in the fourth installment of The Matrix which will be released on April 1, 2022, and a month after that John Wick will follow on May 27, 2022.
