Arsenal And Willian Agree On Three-Year Deal

Willian nears securing transfer to Arsenal as a three-year deal has been agreed on between him and the club for a move that will end his seven-year stay at Chelsea stay summer.

Chelsea did attempt keeping the winger to a two-year deal which he turned down in his quest to join another London-based club. He is expected to earn £100,000-a-week from the deal.

The Brazilian's agent Kia Joorabchian had told Sport, that his client will definitely be leaving Chelsea after Champions League campaign and they have a tough 2nd leg tie match against Bayern Munich having lost  3-0 at their previous meeting.

Meanwhile, Chelsea's policy does not allow the club to meet Willian's demand for a three-year contract to stay considering his age, thus the option left for him was to leave and Arsenal are just waiting for the catch.

Arsenal won their first trophy in three years on Saturday since Arsene Wenger left the club in 2017, in a 2-1 win against Chelsea at the FA Cup which automatically gives them qualification for the UEFA Europa League.
