AC Milan Set Out For Signing Of Chelsea Midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko

AC Milan are understood to be preparing loan deal talks with Chelsea for their out-of-favour midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko for his return to the club.

Bakayoko who just spent the whole of 2019/2020 season in a loan move Monaco, is again needed at the San Siro where he had spent the previous season with the Italians. This time, they wanted more than just another one-season loan transfer.

Chelsea are understood to be willing to discuss the Frenchman's move to return to Italy anyway, however, with the aim of cashing in on the deal. Mind you, they spent £40m on his transfer from Monaco in 2017.

Since the midfielder is familiar with Milan, they reportedly want him for a loan move at a fee of £3million with an option to buy him out for £31.5million.

Already, Blues have two players to resume at the club after the summer transfer - RB Leipzig's striker Timo Werner and Ajax's attacking midfielder Hakim Ziyech - who are the three major signings already completed under Frank Lampard.

Bakayoko has two years remaining in the five-year contract with weekly earnings of £100,000 and they are no longer keen on holding on to him.
