AC Milan Interested In Jesse Lingard Transfer Amidst Manchester United Plan To Sell

Jesse Lingard days at Old Trafford is near its end as Manchester United reportedly have listed him for transfer this summer amidst AC Milan interest in buying.

United manager Ole Gunnar Solksjaer teased of the player leaving the club after the side's 2-1 win over LASK in their Europa League quarter-final qualification on Wednesday. Besides, he also complained about the player's performance which has dropped significantly.

This season has been difficult for Lingard with the rise of Mason Greenwood and the signing of Bruno Fernandes from Sporting Lisbon in January, both who have become key players in the team's lineup.

In the midst of his potential exit this summer, AC Milan have been spotted as one interested club in the midfielder and according to the club's SempreMilan, the club manager Stefanos Pioli is interested in Lingard.

It is understood that even the club's directors are backing up Stefanos' link to the player who reportedly has asking transfer fee of £13.5million.

The 27-year-old has until 2021 remaining in his contract with United and in his decade long spell at the club has a total 33 goals in 206 appearances in all competitions excluding his loan moves.
