2020 Bafta TV Awards: Chernobyl Wins Best Miniseries, See List of Winners
As should be expected in this Covid-19 pandemic, the 2020 Bafta TV Awards was virtually hosted by Richard Ayoade with respect to the social distancing rules, however, it was a great night for Jared Harris and his famous mini-series Chernobyl.
The Johan Renck directed film went home with two awards amongst which was the best miniseries and Jared Harris nabbed the best male actor for his role in the film which revolved around the Soviet Union's 1989 Chernobyl nuclear disaster.
Netflix's The Crown missed out on getting a prize as another drama The End of the F***ing World won the best drama for the online streaming network that received four nods in total at the event.
Glenda Jackson was voted the best actress for her role Alzheimer-based drama which was directed by Aisling Walsh.
