Saka Bukayo has committed himself to a "long-term" contract with Arsenal after signing a new deal with the club on Wednesday.

Busayo has successfully integrated himself into the team starting lineup since his promoted to the senior team from the club's U23 in 2018 under the former head coach Unai Emery. The 18-year-old has made 33 appearances in the team this season, providing 10 assists and has contributed three goals in all competitions.

"I'm so happy to finally announce my contract extension," he wrote in a tweet. "I love playing for this club and I'm looking forward to what the future holds..The hard work continues so I can continue living my dream...God is Great!!"

The club's technical director Edu described the winger as a "talent and intelligent" player for his age, and for that reason, offering him an extension is such that delights the club.

"This is something everyone involved wanted to happen and we are delighted that Bukayo has signed a new long-term contract," said Edu. "Bukayo is a talented and intelligent young player."
