Premier League: Manchester City Seriously Trash Liverpool

Jurgen Klopp had a disappointing game at Etihad Stadium where they suffered a heavy 4-0 defeat to Manchester City, who already have finished the season in the second position with 11 points clear the nearest team.

The victory is without a doubt fruitless in title bid but the loss is definitely Liverpool's heaviest defeat to City of the season and also for a team that has been crowned champions.

After Kevin de Bruyne put City in the lead, within 20 minutes, they had extended the lead to three with Raheem Sterling and Phil Foden adding two goals before the half time. Instead of Reds to make a comeback in the second half, they slid further by conceding the fourth from Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain's own goal.

However, Liverpool had been given the guard of honour before the game commenced and did show some threats from the start and thereafter the game turned out to end in humiliation.
