Manchester United: Loan Deal Extension For Alexis Sanchez Rejected
Manchester United have backed off from a request from Inter Milan to extend Alexis Sanchez's loan deal to allow him to remain at the club for a much longer time.
Sanchez already knew that Red Devils are not keen on having him back from the Italian side rather they would prefer to sell and Inter are yet to trigger the clause to would allow him to be at the club on a permanent contract.
Though United extended his a season-long loan deal to allow him to finish the Italian Serie A season with the club, they turned down a request from the Nerazzurri side from another one-season extension contract according to Sky Sport Italia.
If United did not trigger an extension for the former Arsenal forward, he will miss out on the side's Europa League second leg tie against Getafe on the competition resumption in August. For that reason, Inter manager Antonio Conte is understood to be considering signing him to a permanent deal.
The Chilean left United alongside teammate Romelu Lukaku in a loan deal that was meant to last until season end but was extended until August 2 to allow him to finish the season with the club.
