Leroy Sane Gives Reasons For Leaving Manchester City For Bayern Munich
Leroy Sane has explained the reasons he left Manchester City to join Bayern Munich with which he completed a five-year contract valued at £54million plus add-ons early in June.
Given the reasons why he rejected City's offer to play in the Bundesliga, the 24-year-old explained that Bayern were committed to securing a deal with him and that turned out to be better off that of his previous club despite Pep Guardiola's desire to keep him.
Speaking to SportBild, Sane revealed the decision was however not that easy for him being that City was a team of his delight until began to crave a new future where he thinks his kind of football will fit in properly.
"It wasn't easy," said Sane. "Pep Guardiola and this fantastic team were the reason why I moved to Manchester. But I wanted to do something new. The concept and the plans of FC Bayern were the best match for my ideas. That's why I came to my decision."

The winger, from next season, will commence his Bundesliga spell having left City after a hamstring injury spell that had him ruled out for a season.
Bayern had for two seasons been linked to Sane and when he began not to get enough game time at City, it became dawn on him to leave for German side.
He added, "I know Hansi Flick from the Under-21 national team. I'm aware of how he works, and I know his personality. It's a very good fit. We talked about what he expects of the team and of me, what the goals are, what the works look like in general."
In spite of having to compete with players like Gnarby Serge, Kingsly Conan, and Alphonso Davies for a regular appearance in the starting lineup, Sane yet has confidence in the team manager Hansi Flick to be fair to him and his teammates.
"No player in the world can play every match and reach his highest level," he clarified. "I have my goals, but I'm zero-point-zero percent against rotation."
