LeBron James Scores Game-Winner As L.A Lakers Claim Season's 50th Win

LeBron James, on return to the court after Covid-19 pandemic break, helped seal Los Angeles Lakers' 50th win of the season with 12 seconds remaining.

Coming into the game played in closed doors, LeBron wore a black top with Black Lives Matter printed on it and at the end of the game, saved the game from entering overtime by making the winning shot, by following a missed shot to post a needed two-point winner to beat L.A Clippers by 103-101.

Though Anthony Davies led the standings by posting up 34 points, LeBron added up a double-double of 16 points, 11 rebounds, and 7 assists as Lakers maintained the lead in the Western Conference by six and a half games over Clippers who followed in second place.

Amongst high-scoring players of the game were Clippers' Kawhi Leonard with 28 points, 3 rebounds, and 4 assists, and Paul George led the side with 30 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 assists.

With seven games remaining, Lakers coast to qualifying for the playoffs which had eluded the franchise for good seven years. Compared to the previous season, Lakers have been in an impressive form since the start of the season.
