Dr. Dre Tenders Prenuptial Agreement, Counters Estranged Wife's Demands Over Divorce

A prenuptial agreement might have just saved Dr. Dre from having to slash his wealth possibly into two halves with his estranged wife Nicole Young, who wanted out their marriage and has filed a lawsuit for their divorce at the court.

Late in June, Nicole petitioned the court to end her marriage of 24 years to the rapper and music producer who is estimated to worth nothing less than £800million according to Forbes. She demanded in her lawsuit that her share of the properties owned by her ex-husband be allotted to her and also spousal support.

Those expectations suffered a massive setback on Wednesday as Dre responded to his ex-wife's demand through his lawyer Laura Wasser by tendering a prenuptial agreement between them at the court, as reported by TMZ.

Paying spousal support to his ex-wife, the iconic hip hop star admitted to but having to split his property with her, he demanded that should be as determined by their prenuptial agreement.

Dre. and Nicole tied the knot 1996 after she had left her ex-husband and former NBA star Sedale Threatt. During their relationship, they could share two children together, Truly (19) and Truice (23).
