DJ Khaled And Drake's New Track 'Popstar' Tops On Spotify, Applemusic

DJ Khalid has worked with many artist in the past year except Drake whom he last collaborated with three years ago and since he began to spell the rapper's native country, Canada, as his name. Without a doubt, that was enough a teaser that both are busy in the studio making songs. Obviously, that turned out to be. 

On Friday, the music producer dropped a double Popstar and Greece with the Hotline Bling rapper, and it has been a boom on streaming platforms quickly gathering numbers running into millions. 

In the United States, according to Chart Data, Popstar notched the top spot of the most-streamed songs on Spotify recording over 2million streams. Likewise, on Applemusic, the song debuted at the top spot of the platform with over 2million stream in less than 24 hours. 

Ecstatic Khaled announcing the performance made by the track on his Instagram update and he wrote: "WE THE POPSTARS!!! #1 on @applemusic! #1 on @spotify!! 😤😤😤😤 @champagnepapi LETS GO!!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🤩 #WTBOVO SO YOU KNOW 🦉🔑🔑."

Khalid's third studio album is on the way but no released date has been set except the theme which he has confirmed as "Khaled Khaled". The two newly released tracks are excepted to be in the upcoming album's tracklist.
