Arsenal Are Ready To Discuss Transfer Talks For Matteo Guendouzi

Matteo Guendouzi might have just reached the end of his stay at Arsenal, not because his contract has run out but the club reportedly is considering him for a makeshift transfer this summer.

The recent brawl between the French player and Neal Maupay in Arsenal 2-1 loss to Brighton at Amex Stadium on Saturday. Neal was grabbed in the neck and thrown to the floor by the attacking midfielder, an act which has received a huge backlash from the club.

Arsenal are aware that a number of clubs are linked with Guendouzi which could make his transfer easy but they would prefer to do a swap for him rather than just sell him reports claimed. Barcelona, Paris-Saint Germain, and Inter Milan are amongst clubs that have been at some points shown interest the player with a price tag of £36m.

There have not been any charges or fines issued to the 21-year-old by the FA for his misconduct towards a fellow player in the football pitch during a Premier League game.
