2020 Hall of Fame Induction Cancelled
This year's Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction which would have seen late rapper Notorious B.I.G and Whitney Housten being inducted has been canceled over the Covid-19 pandemic.
The cancellation was confirmed on Wednesday by the chairman of the Foundation, John Sykes, and blamed the decision on the fears of the attendees of the event contracting the deadly bug.
"To protect the health and safety of our inductees, their families, crew, and our attendees, we've made the decision that the scheduled live is not possible," said John.
He added, "Together with HBO and executive producer Joel Gallen, we will still create an exciting program honouring our 2020 inductees, by telling the stories of their incredible contributions to music on a generation of artists that followed them."
