Wolves' Striker Raul Jimenes Reveals Transfer Interest From Manchester United, Man. City
Raul Jimenez has indicated his interest to complete a transfer this summer and might be set to join either Manchester United, Manchester City, or Liverpool, all who reportedly have been monitoring him at Wolverhampton with transfer interest.
Wolves closely trailing Manchester United and Sheffield United to be in the seventh position in the table in the contest to make Europa League qualification, and the 29-year-old has played a significant role in his debut on a permanent contract having scored 22 goals with 10 assists.
United have been linked to a number of players amongst which is Jadon Sancho and Willian, likewise Liverpool, they are already linked two Wolves' players, Adamu Traore and Ruben Neves, and both players are expected to cost the club a staggering £110million.
"It is an incredible thing to be on the radar and on the lips of these teams," said Jimenes who also mentioned Real Madrid, Barcelona, Juventus, and Manchester City as teams that are monitoring him.
Lining the Mexican up for signing alongside Traore and Ruben might be out of reach for Reds that are cash-strapped following the Covid-19 pandemic lockdown. However, the forward has three years to run in the £30million contract signed with Wolves last summer after completing a loan spell from Benfica.
He added, "They are rumours but it is something good for me to continue growing, making an effort and taking it as an incentive so that, if possible, I can achieve it."
