Tottenham: Former Head Coach's Son Gets Contract Extension
Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly offered a contract extension to the son of their former head coach as the youngster approaches the end of his previous contract with the club.
Maurizio Pochettino, the son of Spurs' former manager, Mauricio, has until the end of June in the contract that he signed with the club under his father in July last year, and it was understood that the teenager has been offered a new deal after the club released the list players in the lineup for the remaining of the 2019/20 season.
The 19-year-old started his career at the White Hart Lane from the academy before his father promoted him to the senior team but is yet to make an appearance in the senior team except in the club's U18 and that was before his promotion.
Mauricio was dismissed at Spurs in November following a poor start to the end and was replaced by Jose Mourinho who returned to management eleven months after he was sacked at Manchester United.
