Premier League: Liverpool Widen Lead With A Big Win Over Crystal Palace
Liverpool have yet again widened their lead in the table as they coast to winning the Premier League title after beating Crystal Palace a massive 4-0 at Anfield Stadium.
Palace did not stand much chance against Reds who without a doubt were the better side in the game that saw Mo Salah and Sadio Mane scoring to lead the side to victory.
A superb finish from a free-kick by Trent Alexander-Arnold opened the scoring in the 23rd minute and Salah scored the second on the edge of half time from Fabinho's cross.
Palace were no better in the second half and conceded the third from a 30-yard shot by Fabinho in 55th minutes and Mane completed the scoring following a fast break inspired by Roberto Firmino and Salah.
Reds' route to secure a comfortable leading for a Premier League has not been without some bumps in the season and that talking about the Covid-19 pandemic which forced the season into a break for over three months. However, Jurgen Klopp will be leading the side to end their title-drought of 30 years at the end of the season.
