Philippe Coutinho Might Be Set For Premier League Return

Barcelona are understood to be working out the right move for Philippe Coutinho in summer and have reportedly come up with doing a swap deal for him with clubs in the Premier League.

Philippe knows for sure that his return to Catalan is not on Barca's priority and his loan spell at Bayern Munich has failed to materialize in a permanent as the Bundesliga side does not want to keep him as well. Thus, his future definitely will not be at neither of the clubs.

Returning to Liverpool is not a feasible move for Philippe but Chelsea, Newcastle, and Tottenham are reportedly showing interest in him and the Spaniards are understood to be considering exchanging him with a defender from any of the clubs, for one that matches the kind they are looking for.

Likewise, Barcelona are working towards bolstering their attack the signing of Inter Milan forward Lautaro Martinez, who they needed to replace Luiz Suarez. Talks are reportedly ongoing between them and the Italians for the Argentine.

Keep in my that Barca signed the former Liverpool player for a whooping £145 million in 2018 and they have also been understood to be demanding for nothing lesser than £75 million in fee for his transfer.

According to the Sport, the La Liga giants want a defender of a transfer fee of £25million to swap with the midfielder that will go the other way for £55 million in an upfront payment.

Philippe loan contract at Bayern is set to expire by the end of June but has until 2023 in his contract with Barcelona. Unless the loan contract is extended at the end of the season that will last longer than usual as a result of coronavirus lockdown break, he will not be able to lift the Bundesliga title with the club that is coasting to defending the title.
