Peirre-Emerick Aubameyang: Arsenal Unsettle With Losing Player Cheaply

Arsenal reportedly are unwilling to agree to a transfer at a reduced price lesser than £20m for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, rather they would prefer to keep him to the end of the season amidst transfer interest from top-flight clubs.

Gunners risk letting the forward leave for free if the status quo between them over contract renewal remains until next summer when his contract will run out. Arsenal are very reluctant to lose the player who has been linked to Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain, and Chelsea.

None of the clubs linked to the player are ready to meet his transfer fee of £50 million, but PSG and Inter Milan are monitoring the situation with the fee reduced to £20 million. Anything lower than that, it reportedly will be a no-deal.

Like any other clubs, the London-based club's finances have also been hit by the Covid-19 lockdown which has lasted through three months, and according to The Telegraph, cash-strapped Arsenal will be talking to Aubameyang to convince him to commit his future to the club.

The club's inability to make Champions League is understood to be the reason behind his desire to leave and his manager Mikel Arteta reportedly has set that as his set target to win his players' commitment to the club.
