Marcus Rashford Recovers From Back Injury, Says Manchester United Is In "Much Stronger Position"
United had a rough start to the season until they revamped after Bruno Fernandes and Ighalo Odion were signed into the club and the side maintained eleven winning streaks before the suspension over the spread of the killer bug.
Red Devils are fifth in the table behind Chelsea as both teams racing to secure Champion League slot in the top four of the Premier League.
"I think coming out of this lockdown we are in a much stronger position than we were going into it," he told Stretty News. "I think we just need to take each game as it comes and not get too ahead of ourselves."
The forward had scored 19 goals before picking up an injury during United's match against Wolverhampton in February. Since that time, Ighalo filled his space in his absence and scored four goals in eight appearances before the coronavirus came into effect.
He explained further: "We are working hard in the training, gelling as a team with players coming back from injury. For me personally, I felt I was having my best season to date before the injury-hit so now I'm back fully I'm determined to push on."
Premier League is scheduled to return from the break on Wednesday of July 17 and in the fixture on the date is Manchester City v Arsenal and Aston Villa vs Sheffield. Games will resume fully from the weekend of June 20-21.
