Manchester United Join Race For Willian's Signature

Manchester United are reportedly considering to launch a transfer offer for exiting Chelsea player Willian as he fast approaches the expiration date of his contract at the club.

Willan could remain at Chelsea if he wanted only that they are willing to keep him for another two years which is short of his demand for a three-year contract. Otherwise, he will rather leave the club preferably for another London-based team as he has often mentioned.

Tottenham and Arsenal are the two sides that the Brazilian have been linked to before United joined in after registering their interest in him by making contact with his representative and his agent Kia Joorbiachian according to France Football

Even the 31-year-old admitted the challenges of remaining at Chelsea in his interview with a Brazilian outlet Esporte Interativo and explained that the club can only offer him a two-year contract while he "wanted more than three years" from the club.

On the expiration of his contract, the winger will be allowed to leave Stanford Bridge as a free agent which gives a good prospect for any interested club in this time that football clubs have been badly hit by the Covid-19 pandemic lockdown. Though domestic leagues are gradually coming out of football suspension, yet matches will be played without spectators in their facilities.
