Kylie Jenner Ranked World's Highest-Paid Celebrity

Despite the recent disappointment of being yanked out of billionaire rankings, Kylie Jenner bounced back to be ranked the world's highest-paid celebrity for the year 2020, trailed by her brother-in-law Kanye West on the list of 100 released by Forbes.

Kylie was announced as the world's youngest billionaire in 2018 but the magazine found out this year that they have been misinformed on the true financial successes of the model's cosmetics brand, which they found out is lesser than reported. Thus, she was dropped and re-estimated to have worth a bit more than a billion dollars.

Nonetheless, Kylie claimed the number one spot of the world's highest-paid celebrity for raking $590 million in the past year, most of which are proceeds from the sale of her cosmetics brand that she sold to another beauty giant Coty last year. She made $540m before tax from the sale of 51 percent stake of the beauty company which was valued at $600m, according to Forbes.

In the second place is the rapper-turned-fashion designer Kanye West and he is nowhere near what the KUWTK reality show star earned in the past year as he was estimated to have earned $170 million. Overall, the father-of-four is a billionaire having valued to have $1.3 billion in net worth.

Tennis ace Roger Federer emerged as the world's highest-paid athlete making him the first tennis player to be so ranked. Most of his incomes are from tournaments and endorsements, according to the magazine.
