Kanye West Is Hip Hop New Money Man

Kanye West has become Hip Hop richest and also the highest-paid artist of the year 2020 with total earnings of $170 million, second only to his sister-in-law Kylie Jenner, in the world's highest-paid celebrities for the same year. 

When Kanye dropped his third studio album Graduation in 2007, it would not have occurred to him that he would someday be a billion-dollar artist. Here he is now, the richest hip hop artist with a net worth of $1.3 billion according to Forbes. Bear in mind, the father-of-four does not only do music as he has turned a fashion designer. 

Yeezy, the rapper's footwear brand in collaboration with Adidas, is according to the magazine, his major contributor with a staggering $850 million. The brand is one of Adidas' successes having global acceptance with a valuation estimated at $3billion according to Bloomberg. 

Following Ye in the list of top 100 of the highest-paid celebrities as an artist is Elton John with $81million and Ariana Grande is third with $72million whilst Jonas Brothers are fourth as artists with $68.5million.
