Juventus Considering Selling Aaron Ramsey Over Financial Hardship

Aaron Ramey's spell at Juventus reportedly might be shorter than stipulated in his contract as the club is considering selling the player in summer over financial difficulties inflicted on them by the Covid-19 pandemic.

The Welsh player has only spent a season in the four years contract signed with the Italian last summer and has also struggled with his fitness following episodes of injuries that ripped game appearances off him. He has only made 15 league game appearances scoring only three goals.

Italian Serie A will be resuming from the lockdown next weekend and they are en route winning their ninth league titles, but their pocket is handsome enough to couple with the player's wages which is £400,000-a-week. Whilst the midfielder's exit looms, Manchester United are understood to be amongst Premier League clubs monitoring his situation.

According to Sportmail, the 29-year-old has an option to take a pay-cut to enable him to continue his stay at Juve otherwise he will have to leave on loan just so the club can share the payment of his wages with another club.

United do not really have much to bother about their midfielder as Paul Pogba is expected to be back from injury and Bruno Fernandes has been able to make a strong impact on the team in the Frenchman's absence. However, the former Arsenal player may yet have a place in the team as a backup should any of the pair pick up in injury.
