Formula 1: Revised 2020 Calendar Of Eight Races Released
A revised calendar for the 2020 Formula one season has been released with eight races scheduled to hold starting from Austria in July.
After the season was suspended over the global outbreak of Covid-19 since March, the hope of holding a racing is beginning to return as infection rate has slowed down in most countries in Europe, and governments have been easing the lockdown rules in their respective countries.
As reported previously, Austria will get a doubleheader, hosting two races in the month of July and followed by Hungarian Grand Prix. The racing teams will have a week break before traveling to Silverstone in the United Kingdom where two races will also be held between July and August.
All the races are expected to be held without spectators as revealed by the Chairman and CEO of Formula 1, Chase Carey, who said last month, "While we currently expect the season to commence without fans at our races we hope that over the coming months the situation will allow us to welcome them back once it is safe to do so."
