Carlo Ancelotti Accused Of Tax Evasion By Spanish Prosecutor
Carlo Ancelotti has been charged with an allegation relating to tax fraud to the tune of £904,000 (€1m) during his Spanish La Liga spell by the Spanish Government.
Just as Ancelotti, Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Jose Mourinho are amongst football personalities that have faced tax fraud legal battle with the Spanish government and the Italian's case is also similar.
The Spanish prosecutor reportedly accused the former Real Madrid manager of covering up proceeds from image right at the club between 2014 and 2015, the reason for which he has been dragged to court for willingly dodging the tax.
Besides Messi, it happened Ronaldo and Mourinho were accused of the same offense during their Madrid spell and this made Ancelotti the second manager after Mourinho to find himself having to have questions to answer over taxes at the club.
