Adam Lallana Extends Contract To Finish Season With Liverpool
Premier League will be resuming from the coronavirus lockdown on June 17 and Liverpool are on course to lift the trophy for the first time in 30 years. They lead the EPL table with 25 points clear defending champions Manchester City.
Speaking of the extension, Adam who won the Champions League with the team last season, admitted finishing the season at Anfield means a lot not only to him but "his family".
"I feel in my time at Liverpool I've always looked to do the right thing for the team," said Adam. "So, I'm buzzing to be seeing out this campaign and hopefully get to celebrate something memorable with an amazing group of people."
The former Southampton midfielder joined the side in 2014 after a loan spell at Bournemouth. He also won the UEFA Super Cup and Fifa World Club Cup with the team during his time.
