Willian Admits Links To Tottenham And Arsenal
Willian, soon, will be a former Chelsea star and he knows for certain that his exit from the club in summer is sure. In spite of that, he is going to be stranded without nowhere to go with links to two London-based clubs.
Chelsea already knew for sure the Brazilian will leave in summer when his contract must have run out and they are not keen on keeping him either. That means he will be leaving as a free agent after spending seven seasons at Stanford Bridge.
In the midst of this, Arsenal and Tottenham are the clubs strongly linked to him which obviously meets his dream future move after he had revealed his preference for a London-based to any other.
"It's really a hard decision," he said admitting to leaving Chelsea in summer. "However, it is like I said before if I leave Chelsea with no trouble and leaving the doors open, it would be fine to move to a rival."
There are speculations that Arsenal are considering to swap Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang with him plus £30 million, however, the challenge they face is his three-year deal demand which Arsenal are not ready to meet. In terms of his fee, they are reportedly ready to meet his £120,000-a-week wages which he earns at Chelsea.
London is the place the 31-year-old will like to live after joining Chelsea rivals and anything other than that move would mean leaving Premier League altogether, he also revealed.
Chelsea is the winger's first Premier League spell and it has been quite successful for him having won five silverware - two Premier League title, UEFA Europa League, FA Cup, and the EFL Cup.
