Usain Bolt Welcomes First Child With Partner Kasi Bennett
Olympic gold medalist and Jamaican sprint legend Usain Bolt is now a father as he welcomed his first child with his longtime partner Kasi Bennett.
The Jamaican Prime Minister Andrew Holmes broke the news via Twitter on Monday, the day Kasi gave birth to her first child and also confirmed the gender of the new-born to be a girl.
"Congratulations to our sprint legend Usain Bolt and Kasi Bennett on the arrival of their baby girl," Andrew announced the arrival of the couple's child on Twitter.
Meanwhile, the eight-time Olympic gold medalist had revealed that Kasi is pregnant with his first child in an Instagram picture update in January and later revealed the gender to be a baby girl in a tweeted clip from a bash held at his resident in Kingston Jamaican in March.
The 33-year-old who holds the world record in 100m and 200m announced his retirement from the sprint in 2017. He attempted switching his career to football and after being offered trials in South African and Australia, abolished taking up the new challenge.
