Tottenham Star Dele Alli Robbed At Knifepoint


Tottenham Hotspurs star Dele Alli was robbed at knifepoint by two men who forced their way into his home in Barnet, North London.

The attackers reportedly broke into attacking midfielder's home in the early hours of Wednesday according to Daily Mail. He was in the house with his brother and their partners when the incident happened. Alli was left with an injury to his face.

Valuables like wristwatches belonging to the England player were carted away by the intruders who fled the scene and are yet to be apprehended by the police. 

"Police were called at approximately 00:35hrs on Wednesday, 13 May to report of a robbery at a residential address in Barnet," the authorities' spokesperson confirmed. "Two males gained entry to the property and stole items of jewellery, including watches, before fleeing,"

The injury sustained by the player is believed to be minor which resulted from punches to his face by the two invaders. Alli should be alright to resume training with his team as the Premier League is expected to return from suspension in June.
