Rapper M.I, Naeto C Explain Reasons Davido Is Hated By Fellow Artists

Davido is an established African artist with global recognition but there are issues of hate about his successes in the music industry, which Naeto C and M.I have blamed the enviable background of the pop singer. 

Naeto and M.I threw their weight behind 27-year-old and praised him for putting in a lot of work to reach prominence in his career. Contrary to what critics have against him, the pair reckoned in their conversation on Instagram Live that Davido's successes are a result of hard work and nothing else.   

"You see a lot of kids that don't have anything - they are fighting to get that top spot. How hard it is to come from that position of privilege and have that desire and hunger to get to that position [in his career," said M.I. 

From Naeto C's point of view, alleging him of not writing his songs is just fault-finding because as for him, Davido really hard more than that can imagine and it is legit to get to the feat that he is in his career at the moment. 

Just last week, Burna Boy was recently alleged of dragging Davido in a statement posted on Instagram, calling the Fall singer out as an artist whose father gave so much support to reach a career milestone by using his wealth as an instrument. 

"You cannot play football, everybody knows you cannot play football and you are an embarrassment to the team But your father bought the football team," Burna Boy wrote. 

That statement got a huge backlash for Burna Boy with the suspicion that he was shading Davido over a picture update of himself and Wizkid which he captioned as: "The two greatest of all time! No 🧢."
