Paris Saint-Germain Offer Mauro Icardi Three-Year Contract To Leave Inter Milan
Paris Saint-Germain are ready to trigger the buy-out clause in Mauri Icardi's loan contract from Inter Milan and have offered him a three-year contract for his signature.
Icardi joined the Ligue 1 champion in a season-long loan move last summer, and to keep him, the contract comes with a fee of £62.7m to buy him out. The forward has two-more seasons to run in his contract with Inter which he signed last year.
In the three-year contract, the French side is reportedly offering a fee of £44.7m plus add-ons of £8.9m to secure Argentine's move from Italy, after an impressive loan spell during which he scored 20 goals in all 28 appearances for the side.
Icardi was loaned out after Inter signed Romelu Lukaku from Manchester United in August and was assigned with shirt no.7 which was previously worn by him. In the same month, Inter also signed another forward Alexis Sanchez to a season-long deal from United.
Besides Icardi, Inter are set lose another striker in the summer transfer window as Barcelona are in pursuit of Lautaro Martinez. The Spaniards have not been able to meet with Inter's demands for the forward.
Nelson Semedo, who was offered alongside Junior Firpo for a swap with Martinez, will instead be joining PSG in a three players swap with Barcelona after a deal was agreed on between the two sides.
